Moose Magazine Correction Concerning LCL.Net

On page 40 of the August/September/October issue of Moose Magazine, a brief story summarizing the 2007 International Convention report of Director of Information Systems Eric Vonhoff reads, in part:

"Successive improvements to the LCL.net program, are set to continue this fall, Vonhoff said, with the release of Version 1.0.5.  This version will make LCL.net compatible with Microsoft Vista Operating System . . ."

This is an INCORRECT paraphrase of Vonhoff's report (which appears in its entirety, correctly, at

What IS correct is that LCL.net Version 1.0.5, now in production, is NOT yet compatible with the Microsoft Vista Operating System; this compatibility will not occur until the November 2007 release of LCL.net Version 2.0 (which will also upgrade QuickBooks to the 2007 edition and provide roughly two dozen additional enhancements).

Fraternal Unit Officers SHOULD NOT attempt to upgrade to the Microsoft Vista Operating System using Version 1.0.5!  Doing so will cause Version 1.0.5 to function improperly!

On Tuesday, September 4, 2007, LCL.Net version 1.0.4 will no longer be able to communicate with the Moose Membership Management System at Moose International.  LCL.Net version 1.0.5 can be downloaded from the link below. 

If you have already upgraded to LCL.Net version 1.0.5, Please Do Not Download it again.

IRS Form 990 Now Available On Website, Forms Due by September 15, 2007
